API Authentication

Secure your API requests using MedIngest token keys.

API Key Authentication

The MedIngest API uses custom API tokens to authenticate request payloads. You can retrieve your secure keys from the Developer console sandbox panel.

Bearer Header Pattern

All HTTP requests made to MedIngest servers must include an authorization header key structured as follows:

auth-request.sh
# Example API Request using Bearer Authentication
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
     https://api.medingest.ai/v1/documents

Important Safety Warning

Your API keys grant full read and write access to your clinical documents. Never commit secure keys to git repositories or expose them inside client-side javascript files.
